After 30 Years In Business, Vestavia Bakery Closes

A longtime member of the Vestavia Hills business community has closed its doors, perhaps permanently.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — A member of the Vestavia Hills business community for three decades has closed. Klingler’s European Bakery and Cafe on Montgomery Highway closed due to financial issues set off by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report.

The owners said the bakery could possibly reopen at some point, but they have vacated the property and the space is currently for lease.
