Altadena Development Approved By Zoning Commission

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — The Vestavia Hills Planning and Zoning Commision approved a proposed rezoning for a development in the Altadena neighborhood at its Jan. 14 meeting. A report by the Vestavia Voice said the rezoning of 2810 Five Oaks Lane involved an agreement between the developer and nearby residents.

The property will be rezoned from Jefferson County E-2 to Vestavia Hills R-2, medium-density residential. Round Tree Investments plans build to 17 homes on 18 lots on the property, a downsize from the original plan to build 29 new homes.
