City Council Fills Two Board Vacancies

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — The Vestavia Hills City Council has named two new representatives to its board vacancies. Lawrence Cochran was named to the Vestavia Hills Library Board and Mitch Bevill was named to the Parks and Recreation Board.

The city council opened up applications for the two positions in October when they became vacant. The council held public interviews for the positions last Thursday. Three candidates were interviewed for the Library board and seven for the Parks and Recreation board.
