Collins McMurray of Vestavia Hills has won the crown of Alabama's Outstanding Teen, the pageant announced

Collins McMurray of Vestavia Hills has won the crown of Alabama's Outstanding Teen, the pageant announced on its Facebook page. She was recently named Friendliest City's Outstanding Teen and won her new crown at the state pageant in Sylacauga last weekend.
The Vestavia Hills High School junior performed "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" as her talent. She is the daughter of Dan and Melissa McMurray.
At Vestavia High, she is a member of the German National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society, Rockette Dance Line, Just Singin’ A Capella Group, Honor Choir and Youth Leadership.
