Country Club In Vestavia Hills Under New Management

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Old Overton Club in Vestavia Hills' Liberty Park community has new leadership, as the club is under contract with Troon to manage the private club. A Birmingham Business Journal report said Troon will oversee golf, club, food and beverage operations at Old Overton.

"We are thrilled to have been selected to manage operations at Old Overton Club," said Matt Hurley, president of Honours Golf, a Birmingham-based division of Troon. "This club has always been held in high regard, not only within this area, but all over the country, receiving accolades as one of the best private courses in Alabama. Our goal will be to elevate the member and guest experience even further and enjoy this new partnership well into the future."
