First Of Three Drainage Pipe Replacement Projects Begins Tuesday

Some roads in Vestavia Hills will be closed to traffic this week due to drainage pipe replacements.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - The first of three drainage pipe replacement projects is set to begin Tuesday, June 19 at 8:30 a.m. The road will be closed to traffic at 4046 Noel Drive to allow crews to dig and replace the storm drainage pipe under the road. Work will be ongoing for several days, but the city anticipates full road closure only during work hours Wednesday.

Work is scheduled to progress to 3235 Valley Park Drive later this week and to 4061 White Oak Drive sometime next week. There will be periodic updates and notice of when these additional road closures will occur.
