Italian Restaurant Chain Opening Summit Location
After the closing of Romano's Macaroni Grill in The Summit, a new Italian eatery is set to open in the shopping center.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A new Italian restaurant is set to open int The Summit this fall, filling a void left by the closing of Romano's Macaroni Grill last year. North Italia, an Arizona-based chain, will open in a 5,378 square-foot spot next to Athleta, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report.
“The Summit is thrilled to welcome first-to-the-state restaurant, North Italia, as well as local Birmingham brands, Battle Republic and Real & Rosemary,” Libby Lassiter, president of Bayer Properties, said in a release.
