Labor Day Special: The Best BBQ In Birmingham

The South is known for its barbecue, and the Birmingham area has some of the best. Here is Patch's 10 best barbecue joints in the area.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - It is a point of contention among southerners, and a debate that rivals that of who has the best football team. Where is the best barbecue in the Birmingham area? Some will say it depends on what you want out of a barbecue joint. Do you want a pulled pork sandwich? Ribs? Chicken? How about sauce - white sauce or red?

There is plenty to consider when trying to determine the "best" barbecue restaurant in the area. But with Labor Day weekend approaching, and the college football season about to begin, that means parties, tailgating and barbecue, and Patch has put together a list by compiling rankings by a variety of different consumer-based ranking sites, including Trip Advisor, Google Reviws, Style Blueprint and others, to come up with the 10 best barbecue joints in the Birmingham area.
