Local Church To Host Drive-In Movie Event
Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church will host a drive-in screening of "The War Room" in November.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — With most movie theaters still closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Vestavia Hills church is treating residents to a night at the movies anyway, with a drive-in screening of "The War Room" set for Nov. 8.
Cars will watch on the big screen set up in the parking lot, with limited seats at the front of the screen (participants are asked to bring lawn chairs), seats in Tyson Hall to see it inside, or the ability to pick up a DVD and food so viewers can watch it at home.
Hot dogs, popcorn and drinks will be provided.
