Mayor Requesting Photo Submissions For Salute To Veterans Event
Mayor Ashley Curry wants Vestavia Hills resident to submit photos for a presentation at the Salute to Veterans event.
VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Vestavia Hills is again hosting its Salute to Veterans event Thursday, November 7 at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church, and Mayor Ashley Curry needs the public's help.
This year's event will again feature a photo presentation and the city needs submissions from Vestavia residents.
To submit, residents are asked to email a scanned photo of themselves, family members or friends who have served or are currently serving in any branch of the military to: vestaviahillsgovt@gmail.com.

Be sure to include:
- Service member's first and last name
- Military rank
- Branch of service
- Military conflict/theater of operation
- Dates of military service (if available)
Residents who submitted a photo last year, do not need to resubmit.
