New Coffee Business Serving Cahaba Heights

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — A new coffee provider has come to the Birmingham metro, and has its sights set on the Cahaba Heights area. A Birmingham Business Journal report said Cala Coffee, owned by Josh and Melanie Cosio, aims to provide small batch brewing in the Cahaba Heights area.

"We started it because of our love for sharing a cup of coffee," Josh said in the BBJ feature. "There also isn't a dedicated coffee shop in Cahaba Heights, so we decided to make our own coffee cart that can travel around."

He added that the company is in the process of building a mobile coffee cart that can travel to different businesses events and weddings in the Birmingham area.
