VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Vestavia has a new optometry clinic in the Dolly Ridge Creek Station development. A Birmingham Business Journal report said Dr. Amy Herrington has opened Altadena Eye Care at 2409 Acton Road, Suite 161.

Herrington is a graduate of the UAB School of Optometry who previously worked at Schaeffer Eye Center, according to the BBJ report.

"After contemplating how I would like to practice optometry, I decided it was time to move in a new direction. Being an independent practitioner will allow me to spend more time with each patient and to make my own practice decisions," Herringtom told the BBJ.
