Old Overton Ranked As One of State's Best Golf Courses

Golf Digest counted down the best golf courses in Alabama, and Vestavia's Old Overton placed in the top 10.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - There are more than 200 golf courses in Alabama, giving the state more golf courses per square mile than most states in the country. With so many courses to choose from, picking the state's best is an arduous task. That is where Golf Digest steps in. The renown golf publication ranked Alabama's best golf courses, and Vestavia's Old Overton Club ranked among Alabama's best.

The club, which opened in 1993, has been touted by numerous publications as being one of the best private courses in the state, and has been consistently ranked among the best overall by Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and other publications.
