Rebels Bowling Team Wins State Championship
The seniors on the bowling team set 12 state records and appeared in three state finals during their career.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - The Vestavia Hills High School boys bowling team captured the state championship over the weekend. The seniors on the bowling team set 12 state records and appeared in three state finals during their career.
The Rebels competed at Oak Mountain Lanes in Pelham, defeating East Limestone 1,538-1,503 in the championship round.

This was the third time the Rebels have reached the championship, but the first time they have come away with the state title.
Seniors Beau Reed, Cameron Monistere, Jacob Pilleteri and Boris Lu were major contributors to the win, while Mason Maners, Nick Watts, Reese Merritt and Walter Reed contributed as well. VHHS coach Todd Evans said Kevin Zheng and Rizwan Khan also helped the Rebels in their road to the championship.
