Retailer Moving From Homewood To Cahaba Heights

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — A longtime member of the Homewood business community will move to Cahaba Heights in 2021. A Birmingham Business Journal report said the Smocking Bird, which has been in downtown Homewood for nearly three decades, will open in January at at 3118 Heights Village.

In addition to designer fabrics, imported laces and smocking supplies, the Smocking Bird also offers smocking classes for beginners.
