Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Scheduled For SouthPoint Bank

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — SouthPoint Bank will celebrate its new location in Liberty Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony set for June 17. The new location is at 8000 Liberty Parkway.

The ceremony begins at 5 p.m. and features music, food and family activities.

The Liberty Park branch is significant because the bank itself was actually conceived in Liberty Park by a group of residents, many of whom remain on the board at the bank. Started in 2005, the bank now operates five branches in the Birmingham metro area and has $608 million in assets.
