Theft Suspects Caught On Camera, Vestavia Hills Police Say
The Vestavia Hills Police Department is working multiple theft/shoplifting cases from this month.
VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — The Vestavia Hills Police Department is working multiple theft cases and seeking suspects for questioning.
In one case, VHPD Investigators are requesting the community's help in identifying a suspect in connection to a shoplifting incident on Nov. 16 in the 3100 block of Cahaba Heights Road. The police department posted a photo of the suspect on social media:
In a separate case, two suspects are wanted for questioning in a theft/credit card fraud case. A victim's purse was reportedly stolen from a shopping cart. Security footage shows one offender using distraction techniques to lure the victim away from her purse and buggy. The male suspect then quickly approaches and steals the victim's wallet from her purse.
