Vestavia Bowling Team Reaches Semifinals

PELHAM, AL — The Vestavia Hills High School boys bowling teams reached the semifinals in the state tournament Friday. A report by the Vestavia Voice said the Rebels advanced to the state tournament by finishing runner-up in the North Regional to Sparkman, which went on to win the state title.

During the state tournament, Vestavia defeated Mary Montgomery 1,608-1,332 in the quarterfinals, but fell to Hoover in the semis.
