Vestavia Hills Board Of Education To Meet With AASB Consultant On Superintendent Search

The Vestavia Hill Board of Education will hold a work session on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. to meet with an AASB consultant.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — The Vestavia Hill Board of Education will hold a work session on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. in the board room of the Board of Education building. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the progress of the school system's superintendent search with consultant Terry Jenkins of the Alabama Association of School Boards.

The Vestavia Hills City Schools hired AASB to conduct the system's search for a new superintendent last month. The system and AASB have held joint public sessions to receive feedback from the community, and have issued public surveys so parents and other community members can give their input.

The work session will be followed by the board's regular meeting. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Birmingham Patch morning newsletter.)
