VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — New York company Kat Properties has purchased the Vestavia Hills City Center for $60.25 million, according to AL.com. The Montgomery Highway shopping center is one of many acquisitions in the Southeast for Katz Properties, who buys and repositions east coast shopping centers.
City Center occupies 392,000 squar feet on 18.4 acres, and houses Publix, AMC Cinema, Planet Fitness, Starbucks, Rite Aid and Steinmart, along with other restaurants and a Rick & Bubba broadcast booth.
