Vestavia Hills To Host Blood Drive Monday
Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood, according to the American Red Cross.
VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood, according to the American Red Cross. It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries.
In an effort to do its part, the City of Vestavia Hills will host a blood drive Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center, which is located at 1973 Merryvale Rd. in Vestavia Hills.
Donors can register online at redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-733-2767.
