Vestavia Hills Mountain Bike Team To Host Girls Meet And Greet
The Vestavia Hills Mountain Bike team will host a meet and greet on Monday, Oct. 30 to get girls acquainted with the sport.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — For any Vestavia Hills student looking to try a more untraditional sport, the Vestavia Hills Mountain Bike team is holding an event to recruit more girls for its team. The organization will host a meet and greet on Monday, Oct. 30 to get girls acquainted with the sport.
The event is open to any girl in 6th to 12th grade interested in learning more about mountain biking. The event will include a showing of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association's Single Track High Movie, as well as pizza and snacks.
The meet and greet will be hosted by team coach Tina Chanslor from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Anyone interested in attending should email Chanslor at vestaviamtb@gmail.com for details and directions.
