Vestavia Hills Residents Hit The Polls For Special Election

Around lunch, the parking lot of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church was full as voters headed in to cast their ballots.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — As Alabama residents head to the polls today, the world will watch the results roll in for the special election between Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones. The polls opened at 7 a.m. Tuesday morning and will remain open until 7 p.m.

Vestavia Hills residents took advantage of their lunch breaks to head to their polling places. Around lunch, the parking lot of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church was full as voters headed in to cast their ballots. Another surge of voters is expected at the end of the work day.
