Vestavia Hills Rezoning Property For Townhomes

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - The Vestavia Hills City Council has approved the rezoning of property in the city for eight new townhomes. The building site is located at 3038 Massey Road.

The property was previously Vestavia Hills RC-1(condominium residential district) and is now VH R-9 (planned residential district), according to a Birmingham Business Journal report..

The new townhomes will be built by KADCO Homes across 10 lots and include two common areas.
The developer is taking over the property, which was most recently home to 15 condo units that burned while under construction in 2015. That fire is still under investigation.
