Vestavia Hills SRO Featured In National Magazine
The Student Resource Officer at Cahaba Heights Elementary was featured in a recent issue of The Journal of School Safety.
VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — A Vestavia Hills police officer who works as the Student Resource Officer at Vestavia Hills Elementary Cahaba Heights was featured in a national law enforcement publication.
Officer Clement Leos was featured in The Journal of School Safety, which is the official publication for the National Association of School Resource Officers.
"Officer Leos is the SRO at Cahaba Heights Elementary School where his dedication and hard work has earned him the respect and trust of the students, faculty and staff in which he serves," The VHPD said in a statement on social media. "Officer Leos, you truly make a difference in the lives of everyone you encounter and we are happy that you received the national recognition you deserve. You are a true example of what a modern day hero looks like and we are proud to call you our friend."
