Vestavia Police Recognizes Shelby County 911

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — The Vestavia Hills Police Department issued a statement Tuesday recognizing the hard work of the Shelby County 911 staff, in observance of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week this week.

Acting as a critical lifeline to other first responders, these unsung everyday heroes are always there to answer the call."

National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week spans from April 12-18, set aside every year to recognize dispatchers and public safety telecommunicators for their service as a vital link between your community and fire, medical and law enforcement agencies.
