Vestavia Ranked One Of Best Places To Live In Alabama
A recent poll ranked Vestavia Hills as one of the three best cities in Alabama in which to live.
VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - A recent poll by niche.com, an annual ranking of all of the municipalities in the country, has Vestavia Hills ranked third on its list for best places to live in Alabama. Vestavia Hills trailed only neighboring Homewood and the Huntsville suburb of Madison on the list.
The annual list by niche.com compiled data based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities. Rankings were based on data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other sources.
The ten best cities in which to live in Alabama are:
- Madison
- Homewood
- Vestavia Hills
- Hoover
- Mountain Brook
- Auburn
- Indian Springs Village
- Meadowbrook
- Helena
- Pelham
Vestavia Hills received an A+ overall ranking with an A+ for schools, an A for housing, an A+ for being family friendly, a B for crime and safety, a B+ for nightlife and a B for diversity.
