Vestavia Resident Honored In Wofford College Greek Awards Program
A Vestavia Hills resident was named IFC Man of the Year during the Wofford College Greek Awards Program.
SPARTANBURG, SC — William Hurst Moore, a Vestavia Hills resident and member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, received the Interfraternity Council Man of the Year Award during the Wofford College Greek Awards Program held March 26.
The IFC Man of the Year Award is for an upperclass IFC member, who, through programs, projects, service or actions has displayed the ideals of Greek life: scholarship, wellness, fine standards, service to college and community, development of character and furtherance of Greek life.
Moore has held many positions within his chapter and has been more than involved on campus. He has been on the Orientation Staff, Campus Union and Reformed University Fellowship.

A release from the IFC said Moore "has been committed to implementing change within his chapter with a quiet strength while making decisions and supporting those around him. He has constantly encouraged his brothers to push and challenge themselves in and out of the classroom."
