Alaska Cruise Ship Killing: Utah Husband Indicted On Murder Charge
Kenneth Manzanares, who was indicted Wednesday, told a witness, "'She would not stop laughing at me,'" according to an FBI complaint.

JUNEAU, AK — A Utah man has been indicted on a murder charge in the killing his wife on an Alaskan cruise ship.
A federal grand jury Wednesday indicted Kenneth Manzanares in the death of Kristy Manzanares. It was announced Thursday.
Kristy Manzanares was found dead in a blood-splattered cabin last month on Princess Cruises ship that was diverted to Juneau for the investigation. Federal authorities have led the investigation because the death occurred in U.S. waters. In a previously filed affidavit, FBI Special Agent Michael Watson said witnesses saw Kenneth Manzanares with blood on his hands and clothing.
Manzanares told a witness, "'She would not stop laughing at me,'" according to an FBI complaint. Manzanares then grabbed his wife's body and tried to drag her to the balcony, but a man stopped him, Watson wrote.

An arraignment date hasn't been set.
F. Richard Curtner, an attorney for Kenneth Manzanares, said he had no immediate comment on the case.
"Kristy was a dedicated and loving mother who juggled her business schedule to make her children the top priority," her employer, Summit Sotheby's International Realty in St. George, Utah, said in a statement.
