Amazon To Turn Seasonal Part-Time Jobs Into Full-Time In Arizona
Amazon plans to hire 175,000 temporary full- and part-time positions across the U.S. and Canada.
PHOENIX —Part-time Amazon workers across Arizona could become full-time employees, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.
When the COVID-19 outbreak caused Arizona to shut down in March, Amazon hired 6,500 seasonal part-time employees to help with the surging demand of e-commerce.
The retail company announced that it is seeking to hire 175,000 temporary full- and part-time positions throughout North America. This means that many seasonal workers could be eligible for full time jobs.
