PHOENIX, AZ — It's been just over 24 hours since Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey announced that anyone 16 and older could get a COVID-19 vaccine at a state-run site in three Arizona counties.

The announcement, which pertained to the likes of Maricopa, Pima and Yuma counties, means that most Arizonans will now have access to a COVID-19 vaccine.

It also almost guarantees that the appointments, which open up at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, will be a hot commodity.
