In-State Tuition For DREAMers Going On 2022 Ballot

The Arizona House passed a referendum to revoke the state's ban on in-state tuition for undocumented immigrants on the ballot Monday.

PHOENIX, AZ — The Arizona House of Representatives voted to allow a bill on whether to end the state's ban on providing in-state tuition to undocumented immigrants to go on the ballot in 2022.

The bill, SCR-1044, passed the chamber, 33-27, allowing Arizona voters to decide whether undocumented immigrants and DACA recipients who have graduated high school in Arizona are allowed to pay in-state tuition.
