Season tickets for the Lumberjacks’ five home games in the Walkup Skydome this fall are available for as low as $75 for general admission. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more on a per game basis, as well as a Pick-Two Flex Mini Plan for any two home games for as little as $36 per person.

Third-year head coach Chris Ball and his staff are welcoming in the FCS’ No. 2 recruiting class and momentum is high following a successful spring season that saw the Lumberjacks post a 3-2 record and garner votes in both the Stats Perform and AFCA Coaches Top 25 FCS polls.

NAU’s five-game home slate begins with reigning FCS National Champion Sam Houston coming to Flagstaff for a Thursday night kickoff on Sept. 2. The anticipated home-opening tradition of the Running of the Freshmen will welcome the Lumberjacks onto the field before they host the Bearkats in the teams’ first meeting since 2003.

After three consecutive road games, the Lumberjacks will return to the Dome for their Big Sky home opener versus Idaho State for the annual Family Weekend game on Oct. 2. The much-hyped Homecoming Weekend game follows – after a bye week – on Oct. 16 versus Southern Utah, which will also serve as the final Grand Canyon Trophy game between the two rivals before the Thunderbirds depart for the WAC next summer.

The final two home games will come on consecutive weekends in November, first versus UC Davis on Nov. 6, which will be NAU’s Native American Heritage Game. The home slate concludes with Montana rolling into the Skydome for the first time in five years, in which promises to supply fireworks on Senior Day, Nov. 13.

While capacity for the home games in the Walkup Skydome have yet to be finalized, NAU Athletics is planning to reopen tailgating, including the Ponderosa community tailgate, student tailgate lot and all other lots in accordance and cooperation with institutional and local health and safety protocols.
