1 Dead, 4 Seriously Injured In West Phoenix Hit-And-Run Crash
One person died and four others were injured in a hit-and-run crash near 67th Avenue and Osborn Road Sunday, Phoenix police said.
PHOENIX, AZ — One person died and four others were seriously injured Sunday in a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of 67th Avenue and Osborn Road, Phoenix police said.
A 77-year-old man was killed in the crash. Two men and two women between the age of 28 and 73 were seriously injured, police said.
The crash occurred just after 10 p.m. when a GMC pickup truck hit a Jeep Cherokee from behind on southbound 67th Avenue, pushing the SUV into northbound traffic where it struck a Ford pickup truck. The GMC pickup also hit a Toyota Camry sedan that was traveling north, according to police.

The driver of the Jeep SUV ran away from the scene before police arrived, police said.
