1 Killed, Another Injured After Shots Fired Into Car: Police
Phoenix police are still searching for a person they say shot into a parked car just before 1 a.m. Saturday.
PHOENIX, AZ — A man was killed and a woman injured early Saturday morning when an unknown person approached their parked car and fired shots into the vehicle, according to Phoenix police.
Just before 1 a.m., police were called to 75th Avenue and Indian School Road after a report that a vehicle had driven into a wall. When officers arrived, they found an adult male in the driver's seat and a female in the passenger seat. Both had gunshot wounds, police said.
Preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown suspect approached the pair while they were sitting in a parked car. The suspect then fired shots into the vehicle, police said.

The male victim was attempting to drive away when the vehicle collided with the wall, according to police.
Both victims were taken to the hospital where the man was pronounced dead. The female reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
