1 Killed In West Phoenix Shooting

PHOENIX, AZ — A man was killed in a shooting near 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road in Phoenix Tuesday afternoon, Phoenix police said.

Police found the victim just after 3:15 p.m.; he died at a nearby hospital after being transported in critical condition, according to police.

Preliminary information suggested that the victim got into an argument with another man inside a vehicle before the shooting; the other man fled the scene before police arrived, police said. Neither man was identified.
