Banner Health ER To Reopen After Burst Pipe Flooding

A burst pipe Friday meant patients at the emergency room had to be transferred to other hospitals, a report says.

PHOENIX, AZ — A clean water pipe burst at the Banner University Medical Center Phoenix Friday, causing the emergency room temporarily shut down, according to a Banner Health spokesperson.

The building's facility team were able to stop the leak on Friday, but flooded floors made it impossible to work in the area of the hospital.

ABC15 reported emergency and trauma patients were transferred to other local hospitals.
