Celebrate Cinco De Mayo With A COVID-19 Vaccination In Phoenix
The city of Phoenix is hosting a Cinco de Mayo festival at the Phoenix Convention Center that includes a free COVID-19 vaccination.

PHOENIX, AZ —Phoenix residents seeking to celebrate Cinco de Mayo while also receiving a COVID-19 vaccination are in luck.
That's because the city of Phoenix is hosting the Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday, where vaccines and festivities will be under one roof.
The festival is being held inside the convention center's south building, with walk-ups and appointment being accepted, the city said.

Appointments are recommended for the event, with the public being asked by the city to call 888-420-0212 to book a vaccination reservation.
As of Tuesday afternoon, more than 5.1 million COVID-19 vaccination doses have been administered in Arizona, with just under 3 million Arizonans receiving at least one dose of the vaccine, according to the state's COVID-19 dashboard.
