Chick-fil-A To Open New Phoenix Restaurant Wednesday

To celebrate, Chick-fil-A Bethany Home will surprise 100 local heroes making an impact in Phoenix with free Chick-fil-A for a year.

PHOENIX, AZ — Chicken food lovers, rejoice! A new Chick-fil-A restaurant will open for business in Phoenix this Wednesday, June 30. Chick-fil-A Bethany Home is located at 1850 W. Bethany Home Rd., located near Spectrum Mall at the intersection of Bethany Home Road and 19th Ave., and will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

To celebrate the restaurant's opening, Chick-fil-A Bethany Home will surprise 100 local heroes making an impact in Phoenix with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Phoenix area to aid in the fight against hunger.

Chick-fil-A Bethany Home will open for drive-thru and mobile express lane service, with third-party delivery available shortly after the opening. Guests can take advantage of the duel-lane drive-thru, walk-up windows and outdoor patio seating, as well as contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A mobile app or through online ordering. The popular chicken chain has selected Katie Higgins as the independent franchised owner/operator of Chick-fil-A Bethany Home. According to the company, Higgins will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time team members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests.

“With the opening of this new restaurant, I look forward to building a team centered on providing exceptional service to our guests and creating an environment where our Team Members and the community feel welcomed and cared for,” Higgins said.

Originally from Peachtree City, Georgia, Higgins is a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force. She graduated with Military honors from the United States Air Force Academy, and during her time serving, Katie received the prestigious Lance P. Sijan Leadership Award and the Team Hill Award, which both recognize and honor highest qualities of leadership. Katie and her husband, Brian, who serves as a pilot in the United States Air Force, live locally with their two children.
