Construction Workers In Phoenix Find Body: Police
"Given the placement of the body, this is being investigated as a homicide at this time," Phoenix police said.
PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix police are investigating after construction crews found the body of a man Monday morning near 3rd Avenue and Fillmore Street.
Around 8:30 a.m., police responded to the scene and discovered body. Officers said construction workers found it while doing demolition work on an unoccupied house.
"Given the placement of the body, this is being investigated as a homicide at this time," Phoenix police said.
Because this case is in the very early stages, police said additional information is limited at this time.
