Coronavirus: Maricopa Courthouse Limitations
Maricopa court facilities have limited access due to the threat of the coronavirus. Here's what you need to know.
MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ — Maricopa County court facilities released limited access information amid the spread of the coronavirus. Beginning March 25, through April 8, most in-person hearings will be rescheduled.
A flyer released by the court system says people may only attend in-person hearings if they are the party, the victim, a lawyer assigned to the case, a witness in the case or if a judge gave them permission.

- People filing a protective order or other pleading
- Law enforcement officers
- Couriers
- People picking up signed orders
Clerk of Court customers will still have access to file documents, submit payments, obtain marriage licenses (appointment only), submit public records requests, pick up requested public records and attend previously scheduled passport application appointments.
