PHOENIX — CVS Health will open 10 new drive-thru coronavirus testing sites in Arizona Friday, seven of which will be in Phoenix.
The announcement is part of the company's push to open 2,000 new testing sites at CVS Pharmacy locations by mid-October, it said in a news release. 400 of these sites will open Friday.
“Since opening our first test site in March, we’ve been able to quickly adapt to the changing landscape in order to make it easier for people in the communities we serve to access testing,” Jon Roberts, CVS Health chief operating officer and acting president of CVS Pharmacy, said in a statement. “We recognize the critical role testing plays in helping to manage the spread of the virus and are incredibly proud of how our teams have responded to this need while continuing to take care of our customers, clients and patients.”
