The Doobie Brothers have toured extensively around North America and the world since 1972. They continue to play live, entertaining old fans and picking up a new following with their ageless sound and style. Founding member Patrick Simmons explains the classic sound of the band — “The music has always been an honest representation of whatever we happen to be working on at the time. We had all been playing music for a long time before we put the band together, and our roots influences are what come out.”
After years of success, in 2004 the band was inducted into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame for their contribution to music as an outstanding vocal group and have been nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
