Excessive Heat Warning Issued For Phoenix Area: NWS
The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for Phoenix and points west, running from Friday morning through Sunday.
PHOENIX, AZ — A bout of extreme high pressure will cause temperatures in the Phoenix area to soar above 110 degrees in the Phoenix area this weekend, the National Weather Service said.

High temperatures are expected to be 113 degrees on Friday and Saturday, before dropping to 110 degrees on Sunday, the service's seven-day forecast predicts.
