Hadassah Mountain Southwest, which comprises Phoenix, is hosting a virtual event with Faith Quintero, author of Loaded Blessings on Sept. 6

Hadassah Mountain Southwest, which comprises Phoenix, is hosting a virtual “Meet The Writer” event with Faith Quintero, author of “Loaded Blessings” on Sunday, September 6th at 5:00 PM (CT); 4:00 PM (MT) and 3:00 PM (PT).
Alternating between Inquisition-era Spain and modern-day Israel, “Loaded Blessings” is a story about a family who loses almost everything as they flee into exile, but is left with a powerful heirloom that reaches across time.
Dr. Ofelia Averack, President, Hadassah Southwest enthuses, “Loaded Blessings” is a family saga about injustice and discrimination which alternates between the Spanish Inquisition and Jerusalem of today with an inherited Shabbat candlestick as the connection between the two eras. It is a story of love, loss and hardship.”

Faith Quintero graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication and from Harvard University where she earned a Master of Education focusing on human development and psychology. She attended a semester at Tel Aviv University and worked on a banana plantation on Kibbutz Magal. “Loaded Blessings” is Faith Quintero’s first novel.
