Illegal Pete's To Fly It's Flag In Tempe Starting In The Fall
It will be the second branch n Arizona for the Colorado-based chain. When they opened in Tucson, they were met with protests.

TEMPE, AZ – Illegal Pete's is coming to town. The Colorado-based burrito chain will be opening its second Arizona location just a few blocks from the Arizona State University Campus.
They opened three years ago in Tucson by the University of Arizona.
Their opening there was met by protests from people upset with their name.

Pete's is a fast-casual spot where people can make their own burritos and tacos.
The Tempe location will be on Mill Avenue in the old location of My Big Fat Greek restaurant. It's expected to open in time for the fall semester, which starts in August.

The restaurant will have a bar that will serve margaritas and local beer as well as a space for local bands.
