Man Charged In West Phoenix Shooting
Ngon Truong, 47, was charged in the killing of a 24-year-old in a shooting at a home in west Phoenix Wednesday night, Phoenix police said.
PHOENIX, AZ — A 47-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a shooting at a west Phoenix home Tuesday night, Phoenix police said.
The 24-year-old victim was not identified in the shooting, which occurred just before 10 p.m., near 35th and Glendale avenues, according to police.
Ngon Truong was charged with 2nd-degree murder in connection with the shooting, police said.

If convicted of 2nd-degree murder, Truong faces a maximum sentence of 22 years in prison.
No bail has been set for Truong, who is being held at a local jail pending his preliminary court appearance.

Detectives learned that the shooting victim was in a relationship with Truong's ex-wife, police said.
