Man Shot, Killed In Phoenix Restaurant Parking Lot: Report

PHOENIX, AZ — A man is dead after he was reportedly shot in the parking lot of a restaurant near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road in Phoenix, police told The Arizona Republic. The shooting happened around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday morning, according to reports.
The man was found dead inside a White Chevrolet Tahoe in the parking lot of the closed El Guero Canelo restaurant, The Arizona Republic reported, adding police said the suspect may have been driving a lighter-colored SUV.
Police have not yet identified the victim.
