PHOENIX, AZ — The Phoenix Suns will play its first NBA Finals game in 28 years at downtown's Phoenix Suns Arena on Tuesday night.
The Suns, who face off against the Milwaukee Bucks in the best-of-seven series, secured home court advantage for the finals, thanks to having a better regular season win-loss record than their Eastern Conference brethren.
They reached the finals by taking down the Los Angeles Clippers, four games to two in the Western Conference Finals.

The Bucks reached the finals by taking down the Atlanta Hawks in six games in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The hometown Suns won both of its regular season contests against the Bucks, besting Milwaukee in a pair of one-point games.

The 2021 NBA Finals will be played between Tuesday and July 22, with home games in Phoenix on Tuesday, Thursday, July 17 and July 22; with games in Milwaukee on July 11, July 14 and July 20.
Here's what to know about Tuesday's Game 1 of the series:
How to watch: The Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks will tip off at 6 p.m. local time (9 p.m. Eastern), with ABC carrying the contest nationally.
Whom to watch: For the Bucks, keep an eye on whether two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo can play, after having injured his knee against the Hawks. Antetokounmpo led the Bucks in scoring during the regular season, averaging 28.1 points per game.
If Antetokounmpo is out for Game 1, keep an eye on fellow forward Khris Middleton, who has averaged 23.4 points per game during the playoffs. Guard Jrue Holiday and center Brook Lopez are the other Bucks to average double-figures during the team's postseason run, with the former averaging 17.6 points per game, while the latter has averaged 13.5 points per game for the Bucks.
On the home side, the offense has run through guard Devin Booker, who leads all Suns in scoring during the postseason, averaging 27.0 points per game thus far. Five other Suns players (Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder and Cameron Payne) have averaged at least 10 points per game during the team's playoff run.
Who might win: The Phoenix Suns are currently a six-point favorite to win, according to ESPN. The Worldwide Leader's Basketball Power Index gives the Suns a 56.8 percent chance of winning Tuesday's Game 1, by comparison.
