OneAZ Community Foundation Selects Phoenix Charities For Grants
Phoenix's Feeding Phoenix Farm, A New Leaf & Generation Justice were among the 14 groups picked by One AZ Community Foundation. Here's why.
PHOENIX, AZ — A trio of Phoenix-based nonprofits are among the 14 groups selected for OneAZ Community Foundation's Together is Better grants.
The three groups that received funding were A New Leaf, Feeding Phoenix Farm and Generation Justice.
The $290,000 Together is Better grant funding was handed out to groups that helped build a strong foundation for Arizona's economic stability, including children's health groups, food banks, financial education groups, veterans' interest groups and local youth programs, the company said.

A New Leaf is a Phoenix-based financial education organization that offers financial empowerment services. It plans on using its grant funding to support the group's existing programs.
Feeding Phoenix Farm is a food bank that supports the Phoenix area that will use its grant funding to build chicken coops to provide eggs for the community.

Generation Justice is a children's health program that works to support the child protection system in Arizona and end violence against children.
